Happy new year!
This update is coming earlier in the month than usual, because there was no December update.
I haven’t dedicated a lot of time to software lately, and didn’t get very far in Advent of Code. I wrote day 1 part 1 in Hare, and am still in the middle of trying to write part 2 in “proper” Hare. Learning Hare was fun overall. I think it will deliver on its promises of simplicity, stability, and robustness.
I got 3 stars using Python, got kind of stuck debugging day 3 part 2, and debugging Python started to feel a lot like work so I stopped. I now know what is wrong with the program and will fix it soon.
No news from GTG land! Maybe in the next update :)
